So thankful for excellent news today!!! I just received an email stating that Jacob received a scholarship! While he did not receive the actual scholarship he applied for, he did get this:
I wanted to let you know that the Michigan JCI Senate is offering you a $750 scholarship for your schooling in the fall! While, you were not selected for the US JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship, we were impressed with your application, leadership, and involvement.
Since the actual scholarship was for $1000, the $750 is a VERY NICE consolation. But I really don't see it that way at all. It is a true blessing and I am extremely thank for the money, as well as someone else's recognition of what and who Jacob is.
