5/21/2020 - Day 70 in Quarantine

Jacob came up to me tonight and told me he made an executive decision about himself. When he turns 21, he wants someone (in his words - Uncle Mike) to get him some Fireball. He said he saw it today at work and read that it was cinnamon whiskey, and thought to himself "that would go sown like Mountain Dew". Oh brother......and it seems to have slipped his mind that when he's 21, he can get it himself.

Grace had some words of advice to people around her during the Covid crisis:

“Piece of advice to anyone who is living a life full of fear.

God is in control, has been and always will be, nothing we will do will prevent us from when it’s our time to go, he has the exact day and time already planned out. Living in fear IS NOT LIVING. Yes, dying is a scary thing, corona can be a scary thing, just the same as anything else that is new, but fears should not make your life stop, no one is promised tomorrow. Trust Gods plan for you, not the lies of this world.

"Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4”

And we capped it off with the first “tub” of the season.

5/19/2020 - Day 68 in Quarantine

Jacob gets celebrated as a senior......FINALLY!!

5/14/2020 - 5/5/17/2020 - Days 63-66 in Quarantine

That's it. We have had enough. Jacob and Jadyn had taken off to hang out up north, so Grace and Grant and Greg and I headed to Tennessee. We had an incredible weekend, hiking and enjoying the sunshine and liberty. We hiked to some amazing waterfalls and had an amazing hangout in our hammocks. So thankful for our friends opening their apartment home to us. It was a beautiful time, relaxing and enjoying what God has created.
