After Macker

The boys came back to swim in the pool after the tournament. Then they went to the barn, where they were gearing up for some rollerhockey. At that time, I arrived with pizza for dinner. Grandma calle Grandpa to tell him to bring the boys up to eat. Grandpa told Grandma to bring the food to them. She said no. So, what's a Grandpa to do? He loaded up the boys, gear and all, and broiught them to the house to eat. And skate through the kitchen. Good grief.

Gus Macker Basketball

Jacob played in a 3v3 outside tournament this past weekend. He played with his friends, Foster and Lu. They did really great the first day, but the second day was not as good. However, on the second day they got to play on the "Dream Court" - which was set up like a real court, rather than the street they were previously playing on.

Michigan Adventure

This was Jacob's first time on the Rip Cord, Grace's first time on the Thunder Hawk, and Jadyn and Grant's first time at Michigan Adventure (or on a rollercoaster). We had a blast! Scott, Katie, Ava, Bryce, Krystel, Spencer, Seth, Grandma, Kristie, Kylie, Jacob, Grace, Jadyn, Grant and I all went. It was a PERFECT day!

A Big Night in the Pawlak House

On the heels of her 11th birthday, Grace informed me that she was ready to shave her legs. Why??? Where are my babies going? Why are they being replaced by BIG kids? All too soon, they will be teenagers then adults. Aaaaaaagggghhhhhhh! But I guess it HAS to happen. So in that case, it was a fun experience. Grace and I sat on the side of the tub. I showed her on my leg then she started on her own. We, of course, had an audience. Jadyn and Grant were hovering behind her......waiting to for her cut herself. I am pleased to report that there was no blood shed. Great job, Gracie-girl!
