Ahhhh....Grant

So, I'm not sure if I posted this or not already, but.. Grant was going to a friend's house after school a couple of weeks ago. While on the ride there, the boys started talking politics in the car. (I know, 7 year olds and politics, say what?) But Grant goes on to tell his friend that if Donald Trump gets elected as President he is going to cut the arms off all the black people. HUH?? I know we are not talking about that here....he said he heard it at school when I questioned him about it.

Fast forward to a few days ago....Grant is sitting on the couch reading his Geranimo Stilton book, when all of a sudden he jumps up, stands on the couch and proclaims, "Mom! Dirt is black. Donald Trump needs to know that he is made from dirt and that makes him black. He is going to have to cut his own arms off!" Seriously? Like, out of nowhere? This kid is always thinking.....maybe not about reality or things that make a ton of sense, but his brain is always going. He is truly one of the smartest kids I have ever met.

Two nights ago, Grant wanted to sleep in my bed. Greg said he was not leaving, so I offered to sleep in Grant's bed and let him have my spot. So, as I was kissing Greg goodnight, Grant leans over and says, "I want some of that action!"

Ahhhhhh....Grant. Love him. So much.

Spring Break

We drove to Orange Beach, Alabama and visited Grandma Harding. The entire week was calling for rain - the WHOLE time. However, we only had ONE day of rain and were able to spend that day at the NAS Pensacola Aviation Museum. We spent hours on the beach and at the pool, saw the Blue Angels, played LOTS of cards, and totally enjoyed ourselves. We were blessed beyond measure. Grace made a new friend - Emma Francis. The spring break of 2016 rocked
