Someone Needs Extra Loving

All the kids were spending the night somewhere else. Grace and Jadyn were staying with Maddie and Delaney. Jacob was with Foster. And Grant was staying with Grandpa and Grandma. Well, halfway through being with the girls, Jadyn decided that she "missed" me. So home she came. She ended up sleeping with me, went to breakfast with Greg and I, and then when we went to Mimi and Papa's house, she got an extra special treat from Mimi. Talk about a spoiled girl! Guess she got what she needed.

Pawlak Kids are Having a Party!!!!

We had a party at Grandma and Grandoa's house on January 2, 2014. 20 kids showed up to play in the snow, sled, skate, play hockey, and drink hot cocoa. It was 14 degrees out and I thought it might be too cold for everyone. But, the wind stayed down and we had a great time! I spent 2 1/2 hours plowing the ice skating rink, and went through 28 of the 40 things that are required every time we do something at Grandpa's house. Sure hope those kids appreciated it!

OOPS! Everything I Forgot in 2013.......

Everything I forgot to add to 2013 I am starting 2014 with.....Last day of school before CHRISTmas break - SNOW DAY! That's the kids and me in bed, goofing around. It was kind of a bummer for the kids with their CHRISTmas parties and all, but sure was nice to be home. Grace and Jadyn washing the floor - they were so happy with their headphones for CHRISTmas they were excited to wash the floor! That was the best present I could have gotten!! Kids listening to Dad and his sisters, singing and fighting on old cassette tapes. We were talking about voices changing (thanks to "the book" from Mimi for CHRISTmas) and Greg remembered that he had found a cassette of himself singing when he was around Jacob's age. That was fun! My darling daughters that, no matter what kind of bed I give them, always end up sleeping together in a twin bed! Really? They even had a sleepover where 4 of them slept in one twin bed!!! Grant was a shepherd at church and got to go up on stage......wish someone would have told me! I would have dressed him, instead of letting him dress himself. Oh well. Jadyn and Grant sporting their new CHRISTmas rides! Grace had a sleepover with her friend from China....Hannah came home for CHRISTmas and we were fortunate enough to get her to hang out for a night!
