7/25/2020 - 8/1/2020 Greenbush, MI

This trip was fraught with craziness. Started with getting in late, then almost missing the open hours of the grocery store, back to the cabin to a mouse in the house which caused screams and leaps that knocked out the power to the bedroom behind it. And that was just in the first 6 hours. The next morning finally got the power back on - thanks to "spider monkey" and some duct tape. We had a good rest of the day - LEfty came for a visit. The next day brought a BLM altercation. A black man rode a moped throughout the complex, honking and then rode down on the beach. After calling out to some other people there, the sheriff was called. Then when the people came back later in the day and almost ran over some children, the sheriff was called again and the BLM people were escorted out. Then we had Jadyn's birthday and an indoor cornhole tournament. Later that night, we were entertained by the (assumed) newlywed muslims. They were super cute, but when the night came - there was music and disco lights. Then we had a new group of black people - they were wild. They "borrowed" our chairs on the beach, asked for a ride on the jetski, asked for cream and sugar for their coffee, charcoal for their grill and ketchup for their hot dogs. Whoa! Fortunately for them, they remembered their marijuana. Then the mouse came back. We watched it, and found it's entrance and exit, just in time for toilet to stop working. All in all - a great trip!! Really, it was.
