Sicko Update

After Jacob got sick on me, we treated him as though he had the flu. He stayed home from school Monday and rested. On Greg's way home from work on Monday, after I was home all day with Jacob doing NOTHING, he heard that the Schwartz Creek school district was closed the previous Thursday and Friday due to meningitis. What? The kids Jacob practices basketball with are from there. He plays in Schwartz Creek. I quickly called the pediatrician, who promptly informed me that if we even suspect meningitis, we need to proceed to the ER immediately. So I took Jacob to the ER. Only to find out that he was fine - he just had a migraine headache. Well spent $200. I'll take the migraine instead of meningitis any day.
