5/14/2019 - Grant is an Amazing Reader!

I am so PROUD of this kid!!! At the beginning of the school year he took a reading test and got a score around 600. He set himself a goal, of getting a 1000 before the end of the school year. Halfway through the year, he took the test again and was so excited to come home and tell me he was in the 800s. He said he was 1/2 way to his goal. This morning he told me that today was the day that he got to take the last test. He said he was going to slow down, and re-read everything, then choose the right answer. Being the SUPER PATIENT mother that I am, I called to see if I could get his score. I was shocked, awed and so proud to hear that he had scored a 1014!!!! Over his goal!! He set a goal, worked towards his goal and met his goal - all by himself. There are not enough words to express how very proud of him I am!!!! I love you G$!!!
