Where Do Babies Come From?

As I was putting 6 year old Grant to bed.....He says, "It's weird mom, where do babies come from?" I stumbled over myself before I finally said, "The mom has an egg and the dad has.......sperm. Those have to get together and then a baby is formed. Then he says, "So then does it hatch in the mom?" I had to leave the room.
