Jadyn's 7th Birthday

For Jadyn's 7th birthday she received an American Girl doll that looks just like her - except her doll has curly hair and Jadyn does not. She was very happy. In addition to the doll, she is also receiving a trip, via Megabus, to Chicago to have lunch at the American Girl doll store - with her mom, of course. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!

Football Begins

Rooster??

Krystel was staying with me for a while. One of those days, I was up early and left to go golfing. At 7am, Krystel was sleeping in her room downstairs, when all of a sudden, there was a rooster crowing. Oh, never mind, it was just Grant standing by the side of her bed, at her head, saying "Cock-a-doodle-doo!!" Good thing for him he stepped back after saying it. Otherwise he might still have a black eye.

Grand Slam Queen

July 15, 2013 - As I was walking out the door to go to my softball game, Grant ran out to yell good-bye to me. He followed his good-bye up with, "Hit a GRANT slam, Mom!" To which I replied, "Sure!" - knowing it was not going to happen. Imagine my extreme surprise and excitement when it ACTUALLY DID! Yes, I hit a grand slam homerun! It was a very exciting day!!!! Thankfully, I had time to calm down before driving home.....otherwise I am SURE that there would have been another ticket. Ugh.

Quad Town All-Stars - CHAMPS!!!

July 11, 2013 - Jacob played in the Majors All-Star game. While being one of only two 11 year olds, he did an awesome job and helped his team take the championship!!!!
